I tested all apps. In my opinion it is one of the best apps in the market

First of all, I have an iPhone 6 plus. Im not sure about the issues others are having but I have noticed that when I have a lot of apps running in the background I will randomly get a memory error. Make sure you close ALL your apps before launching this. When I do that, I have 0 issues. Great update and solid app. And btw, system memory has nothing to do with your iPhone storage. Whether you have a 16 gb or 32 gb iPhone, your system memory is the same.

Video is very choppy during playback and live views, freezes every 1 to 2 seconds. I have an iPhone 6+ and even closed all other apps with no change in stream quality. I can stream 4K HD video across my network with no issues so it is obviously an app problem. I am so glad I backed up the previous version of this app on my computer before installing this update. I will be reverting back to it. It is always a bummer when a developer spends time polishing the look of their UI but does next to nothing on the performance side.

I frequently run out of memory and have to re-access the stream several times to get it to work. Once its finally streaming, its actually pretty good. Significantly better than my Foscam systems. One serious flaw is that the record feature creates a file format that is very incompatible with iOS and Mac OS. The only way to view the recorded videos is with VLC.

Hikvison, how is it possible that your app not iPad friendly? iPad is perfect for this purpose! I hope you are working hard on an update. :)

Version downloaded July 15 2005 freezes on launch. Totally worthless.

Latest update removed app badge notifications. Notifications no longer work after iOS 8.4

Whats the point to an update if it doesnt work ? This is a useless update that has rendered a previously functional app to one that doesnt even load and freezes and constitutes a security hazard !

Updated app & it stopped funtioning. Opening screen freezes.

It crashes all the time, useless even with recent updates.

Dont waste your time with this junk Ive had to reinstall it three times but it still doesnt work. I gave it one star because no stars is not an option.

Not sure what the one star reviews are all about but on my iPhone 6 it is working great. No delays and stable. Only thing I would like to see as an enhancement is the ability to pinch and zoom on live video.

Started with the new update 3 Sept 2015: Both "Clear" and "Fluent" views not clear -- was fine prior to this update. This is on iPhone 6. BTW, I had to uninstall the app and re-download to get it to stop quitting after a few seconds. Please fix the resolution RIGHT AWAY. We have important customers trying to use this app!

Just downloaded the latest edition of Hikvision 4500 which has now made my viewing of my Hikvision camera system completely blurry and unviewable on my iphone 5. Im now stuck with this until they fix this problem! Im p*ssed to say the least

9/8/15 I got 4 calls from clients this morning saying that they updated sep 3rd and now the cameras are blurry, and they used to be able to see 16 cameras on fluent but can now only see 10 before the insufficient memory icon pops up. I trust that hikvision will address this issue quickly, as they are very efficient.

Guys, I figured it out. Just a simple setting, easy fix. Click on the screen icon, then select "Clear". It is set to "Fluent" by default. Bam. Back to sharp high res. I agree, bad default, but simple fix.
